This game is so much fun. I played the demo and the feel of the game and graphics are very good. For those who don't know it is a survival zombie game 1st person shooter. I love it. It willl feature 4 person co-op online which is exciting and i love the blood splatters.....sounds gross but it is realistic. The movements of characters are more realistic than that of previous games in this genre. Download the demo, give it a shot it comes out tomorrow.

The graphics aren't that great. But the gameplay is fucking awesome. I've been playing the demo almost as much as my other games.

Not really because now all the people on the fence and the people who don't pay attention to release dates and new games aren't going to bother with it when they finally do hear about it.

Now, if they are only withholding the demo for a bit I could see it boosting initial sales but really it would be quite dumb to make it a lasting thing. Demos sell games.

I do now. Doesn't really change much though. You honestly think everybody knows that? The answer would be no which leads back to people being on the fence not taking the plunge. That coupled with us being in a rescission and you got yourself one horrible business decision designed to string people along. Only thing is you can't string people along who aren't interested.

No one should underestimate casual gamers, that's how games that should otherwise be a success fail.

I think getting rid of the demo is a good thing, in terms of marketing. It's like giving a free sample of drugs to kids. Get them hooked, and when they want more, you sell it. Brilliant, actually. Screw the kids who haven't had a chance to experience the demo. If you have any experience with other Valve games, then you know L4D is gunna be damn good.
